Xpore Awarded Six ISPO Textrends Selection for Ocean Recycled and Bio-Polyamide Textiles

Xpore, a pioneer of technological solutions for the textile industry, won in the 2024/25 ISPO Textrends Award. The company is excited to debut its six awarded products with live demonstrations at ISPO, the leading international sports trade show on November 28th to 30th in Munich.

The ISPO Textrends Award focuses specifically on the textile and fabrics category, showcasing ingredient technologies that help lead to groundbreaking new products.

This year, Xpore's awarded fabrics include OD038-WRC-XAT2R made from 100% Nylon Recycled Oxford, which consist of oyster shells transformed into biomaterials. The recycling of discarded oyster rope uses recycling technology that's harmonious with the marine environment while reducing resources consumption. It's a further step towards the goal of full recycling and zero waste.

The other awarded fabrics are: OD051-WRC-XAT2R, OD068-BP-XAT2R, OD069-BP-XAT2R, OD088-WRC-XAT2R and D095-NA-XAW2. These include ocean-recycled polyamide and bio-polyamide fabrics, which are very much at the forefront of powering Xpore's race to achieve net-zero emissions and ties in with the company's theme of being “Your Top Gear in the Race to Zero”.
