Focusing on Sustainability, Xpore Will Debut at the Outdoor Retailer in the US

After participating in the Performance Days Functional Fabric Fair in Munich, Germany, Xpore will go to the United States and participate in the Outdoor Retailer Expo Summer 2022 from June 9th until the 11th. Xpore will display a ski jacket from independent freeskiing brand Blackcrows, a Metro Oasis lightweight mountaineering jacket from Taiwan, an eco-friendly mono material jacket and a 100% recycled polyester lightweight jacket, etc.



The simple and stylish design of the ergonomic Blackcrows Ora Xpore Ripstop Jacket uses the most sustainable, PFC-free and solvent free, high-performance Xpore waterproof and breathable fabric technology available to provide skiers with a high degree of all-weather comfort. The Metro Oasis waterproof and breathable hooded jacket use Xpore lightweight nylon elastic waterproof fabric. The manufacturing process is environmentally friendly and does not pollute our air or water, allowing hikers and mountaineers to enjoy extreme comfort while minimizing environmental impact. All of the three-layer structure of the mono material jacket uses polyolefin compounds, a breakthrough of Xpore in fabric recycling and circular economy. The 100% recycled polyester fiber jacket uses 50D fabric. It is lightweight yet maintains the high performance of Xpore in terms of waterproofness, breathability and moisture permeability and is very popular among European outdoor brand customers.



In addition to displaying branded ready-to-wear and samples made of different fabrics, Xpore will also show the physical version of the Sustainability White Paper that attracted many exhibitors at the Performance Days in Germany. The entire book uses environmentally friendly materials; the thin wood cover comprises spliced wood scraps and 100% recycled eco-friendly cotton paper forms the inner pages. The content states that Xpore’s efforts in environmental protection and sustainable development will be a highlight of the exhibition.
 
There will be a variety of waterproof and breathable functional fabrics on display. Biomass nylon fabrics using biogas as energy in production, bio-PET fabrics extracted from sugarcane and other plants, natural fiber fabrics from abaca or pineapple, recycled nylon and recycled polyester fabrics, etc.
