Anscare at EWMA 2022: Clinical Applications of Single-Use NPWT System, SIMO
Representing BenQ Materials, Anscare will participate in the European Wound Management Association’s (EWMA) annual conference at the Palais des Congrès de Paris on May 23-25, 2022. We will be showcasing the full range of our product offering and hosting a pre-recorded satellite symposium to present a transnational collaboration on clinical practices using our Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) system, SIMO.
Main Exhibition
Our booth (#273), located on the second floor of the congress, will display products for all stages of wound care that incorporate our parent company’s materials insights and key technologies in their development. With “Answers for Wound Care” as the overarching theme, we offer a wide range of wound-care dressings that provide complete wound-healing solutions, including hemostasis applications as well as wound and scar care used by wound-care professionals.
Venue: Booth #273 (Level 2 Hall Maillot), Palais des Congrès de Paris, France
Date: May 23-25, 2022
Pre-recorded Satellite Symposium with Live Q&A
With an aging population, there is a higher risk of age-related pathologies such as chronic wounds so the demands for care and efficient wound healing becomes a priority. Unresolved wound healing represents a major health care cost with a negative impact on a patient’s quality of life. However, one of the collateral damaging effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on health care has been the postponement or disruption of patients’ wound treatment. As such, “healing from home” has gradually become a mainstream approach to wound management. The adoption of new single-use NPWT (negative pressure wound treatment) devices with advanced wound dressing has emerged as a more convenient and less painful option for patients.
We were delighted to have Dr. Harikrishna KR Nair, a wound-care specialist from Kuala Lumpur Hospital in Malaysia, as a speaker on single-use NPWT in complex wound treatments. Our NPWT system, SIMO, has generated a lot of buzz for its innovative lightweight, portable, and no-electricity-required design. We are looking forward to introducing the advantages of this innovative device to worldwide wound-care professionals at EWMA.
